57 Euro Hightop Camper

heres a crazy one.
what a lucky find. 57 Euro. who knew? semiphores were covered with lights. the taillamps hacked out for big late models. the pressed bumpers changed out for late style pointed. well, someone did! and its currently getting restored back to its former Glory! good job John!

hated to do it. hated to even think it. had to bust out the prized Peaked guides. the big ones. they were on the chopping block for a whopping 5 minutes before someone snatched them up. damn, they are going to look amazing on someone elses ride. :-(

crazy Belgians!

they took a road trip that was inspired by the SST stateside adventures. I came across these pics on the samba. that has to be one of my all time favorite busses with the panelled in windows. the patina, the windows, and the tires. all perfect. cant beat it.

Heil Machine Co. Hurst--other uses...

holy crap! I sent an email to a recent customer to see how the shasta trip went and to see if I could get a pic of my Hurst mounted to his bus. he said it worked out great and here is a pic of it being used to right his bus after flipping.
